About Us

Blasus welshcakes is a family run business based on the outskirts of Carmarthen in beautiful Carmarthenshire. It all began back in 2016 when Sarah, our founder, started baking welshcakes from her home kitchen to sell at local markets.

Fast forward to 2022, Sarah gave the brand a fresh new look - and that's where Blasus Welshcakes really took off! From launching bake-at-home kits and winning a Great Taste Award, to building a fully equipped kitchen and taking to the roads with the Welshcake Wagon - It's been a exciting journey.

We've since grown our team, expanded our list of stockists, and travelled to food tastings and festivals across Wales and beyond. And we're not stopping there - with big plans ahead, we're excited to keep growing and sharing the taste of Blasus with even more people.
